Trapezoidal Roof Roll Forming Machine
Compare trapezoidal roof and wall sheet equipment against the specified ribs, side lap and finished cover width.
Quick answerThe Halcyon trapezoidal roof sheet roll forming machine makes trapezoidal, IBR and box-rib roof and wall sheets from galvanised, galvalume or pre-painted coil. Each line is built to your profile drawing and test-run with your coil before shipment. Lead time: 30–60 days for standard machines, 60–120 days for automatic lines, FOB Xiamen, China. Manufactured in our Xiamen factory · 35+ years.
Price range: trapezoidal roof sheet machines
US$20,000–29,000 (standard) · US$33,000–59,000 (premium), FOB China
Standard covers the first two configuration levels (single-profile and multi-profile / quick-change); premium covers fully automatic lines.
Final price depends on profile, thickness, speed, punching and automation. Excludes freight, import duties and installation. Send your profile drawing for a quotation within 24 hours. North American configurations (480V/60Hz, UL and local requirements) are quoted separately.
Large complete lines (e.g. truck chassis beam lines or full cable tray lines) are quoted per project, typically above US$150,000.

Ask our factory team for current photos of the exact offered line and full-width trial sheets measured against your approved drawing. A forming-station close-up alone cannot establish profile fit or roof-system performance.
How should a trapezoidal roof profile be checked?
Direct answer: Use the approved drawing to verify rib height and pitch, pan width, edge geometry, effective cover and overlap direction on full-width trial sheets. These dimensions determine tooling and installation fit; they cannot be inferred from a generic machine photograph or category speed.
If the approved sheet has rounded repeating waves instead of trapezoidal ribs, compare the corrugated sheet roll forming machine and its wave-pitch and side-lap trial questions. Do not treat the two profiles as one tool set.
- Drawing inputrib height and pitch, pan and edge details, cover width and tolerances
- Material inputgrade, coating, thickness range and coil width
- Process inputfinished lengths, punching layout if specified and target output
- Trial evidencerepeat sheets checked for dimensions, overlap fit, surface condition and cut squareness
Should roof and wall sheets share one line?
That depends on the two approved sections, their tooling, expected production mix and changeover requirements. A double-layer frame is one possible configuration, but both profiles and the operating sequence must be confirmed before claiming a footprint or cost advantage. Compare the roof and wall selection page and request separate sample criteria for each profile.

Get a quoteCheck a full-width roof sheet and the side lap
Ask our factory team to trial the approved trapezoidal drawing with identified steel grade, coating, thickness range and coil width. Measure rib height, rib pitch, pan width, finished cut length and effective cover at agreed datums on first-off and later sheets. Assemble adjacent sheets in the specified lap direction, then inspect edge fit and coating marks under the agreed method.
Is nominal sheet width the same as installed cover?
No. Effective cover depends on the designed side lap. Measure an assembled pair and compare it with the project drawing.
Can an attractive sample prove roof-system performance?
No. A machine trial checks sheet geometry and surface condition. Wind resistance, weather tightness, fixing and local-code suitability need separate system design and testing where required.
What must a comparable quotation include?
Specify the exact roof or wall drawing, material and coil, required punching if any, finished lengths, target accepted output, handling method and sample acceptance criteria. Ask our factory team to list excluded modules.
