Step 3: what to check in the trial
A tile-like appearance is easy to photograph. What matters to your customers is that the steps line up across overlapping sheets and that the coating is not damaged. Ask for these checks on the coil you will actually buy.

Step 4: order lengths are multiples of the step
Because the step repeats at a fixed pitch, a step tile sheet cannot be cut to any length you like. Sheet lengths are usually a whole number of step pitches plus the agreed end allowances. Agree the length rule with your customers and with us before tooling is made, so that the controller is set up for the lengths you actually sell.
