Press Brake & Bending Machine
Choose the bending process around your actual flashing drawings and trial pieces.

When does a roof-flashing buyer need a press brake or folder?
Buyer answer: Start with the finished flashing drawings, the largest blank and the bend sequence. A press brake and a folding machine do not have the same tooling or handling requirements. The proposal must show that the selected process can make the approved corner, ridge, verge or apron detail without damaging its coating.
Halcyon handles equipment enquiries factory-direct from our Xiamen production base. Request current photographs of the proposed bending machine, its tooling and workpiece supports, together with a trial using your flashing drawing and material. A catalogue image alone does not establish the machine configuration or bending capacity. For a named long-sheet folding reference, review the HFB-6500 production-base model; confirm its bending mechanism and tooling against your part before comparing it with a conventional press brake.
Inputs for a comparable quotation
- Finished partDimensioned flashing drawings, bend angles, radii and required tolerances.
- BlankMaximum developed width and length, steel or aluminium grade, thickness range and coating.
- Production mixBatch sizes, changeovers, number of bends per part and target finished pieces per shift.
- HandlingSpace for long blanks, back-gauge or support needs, operator access and destination power.
- Sample evidenceFirst-off and repeat pieces checked for dimensions, straightness, finish and fit to the roof or wall detail.
What should the sample trial record?
Check the inside and outside bend dimensions and the resulting finished leg lengths. Inspect the coating near the bend and any tool contact marks. If several profiles share one proposed machine, the written scope should list which tooling and changeovers are included. A roof or wall sheet line does not by itself prove a particular flashing can be folded.
Send us your profile drawing
Send the flashing drawings, material, blank sizes and production mix so our factory team can review the bending method and sample plan.
Get a quoteOnly an approved part can define the bending equipment
Our factory team must calculate the proposed machine and tooling from the blank, bend geometry, material and required quality. No capacity, tonnage, delivery time or return on investment is promised on this page.
Submit a flashing drawingProposal questions
- Which parts and materials are included in the sample trial?
- How will coating damage be checked?
- What tooling is required for narrow returns and long legs?
- How will long blanks be supported and measured?
- Which destination electrical and safety requirements apply?
What should I send with a quotation request?
Send dimensioned flashing drawings, steel or aluminium grade, thickness range, developed blank sizes, coating details, target output and destination country.
Can you quote a tonnage from the page?
No. Our factory team must verify machine capacity and tooling against the actual material and bend sequence before putting values into a technical offer.
Will the same tooling make every flashing?
That cannot be assumed. List every bend and return profile in the written scope, then inspect samples from the difficult profiles.
