T-Grid Roll Forming Machine
Review the main tee, cross tee and connector drawings for a suspended ceiling grid. A formed T-section alone does not prove that the specified module will assemble.
Price range: T-grid ceiling machines
US$33,000–49,000 (standard) · US$59,000–117,000 (premium), FOB China
Standard covers the first two configuration levels (single-profile and multi-profile / quick-change); premium covers fully automatic lines.
Final price depends on profile, thickness, speed, punching and automation. Excludes freight, import duties and installation. Send your profile drawing for a quotation within 24 hours. North American configurations (480V/60Hz, UL and local requirements) are quoted separately.
Large complete lines (e.g. truck chassis beam lines or full cable tray lines) are quoted per project, typically above US$150,000.
Manufactured in our Xiamen factory · 35+ years of roll forming experience.

How should a suspended-ceiling grid line be accepted?
Direct answer: Test the actual main tee, cross tee and wall angle drawings, rather than a generic T-profile. Connector geometry, slot locations and face finish matter as much as section dimensions because the parts must assemble into the specified ceiling module.
- Drawing inputtee and angle sections, connector and slot details, module dimensions
- Material inputgrade, coating or face finish, thickness range and coil width
- Process inputcut lengths, slot pattern, finish handling and target output
- Trial evidenceassemble a sample grid, check joint fit, squareness and visible face condition
Does one ceiling T-bar machine make both main tees and cross tees?
Do not assume that a single T-grid roll forming machine covers every member. A quotation may specify separate main-tee and cross-tee lines, or a shared forming base with profile-specific roller and punching units. The wall angle may have its own tooling or line. The machine count, changeover method and included profiles must be stated in our Xiamen production base's written scope before either arrangement can be offered for your grid.
- Main tee scopeapproved section, suspension and cross-tee slot pattern, end joint, cut length and first-off sample
- Cross tee scopeapproved section, connector or clip end, specified lengths and fit against the matching main-tee slots
- Wall angle scopeconfirm whether it is included in the quoted tooling, a separate line or outside the supply scope
- Line arrangementlist each forming base, roller set, punch and cutter; record changeover steps and repeat-sample results
Ask for one assembled grid module made from the quoted member set. Record the drawing revision and first-off and repeat parts, then check connector engagement, module squareness and visible face finish. These are proposed buyer checks, not test results for an identified Halcyon machine.
Can drywall-keel tooling be reused?
Shared customers do not imply shared rolls or punching tools. Compare the proposed T-grid process with the drywall-keel process and obtain a separate tooling scope for every approved profile.
Send us your section drawing
We will review your profile drawing, material, hole pattern and target output with our factory team before confirming the proposed scope and quotation.

Label main tees, cross tees, connectors and wall angles from each approved drawing. Measure slots, connector fit, module squareness and visible face finish after a first-off and repeat run. A single T-section sample cannot demonstrate that the complete suspended grid will assemble.
Send the grid and connector drawingsProposal questions
- Which tee and angle profiles are included?
- How are connector slots located?
- What finish protection is required?
- Which parts must change tooling?
- Who signs off the sample grid?
Can drywall stud tooling make ceiling T-grid?
Do not assume it. Tee connections and visible faces require separate drawings and a tooling review.
What is a useful factory acceptance sample?
An identified set of formed members assembled to the specified module, with recorded dimensions and connector fit.
Does the machine trial certify the installed ceiling?
No. The responsible project designer must verify suspension, loads and applicable system requirements separately.
Source and limits: Halcyon Machinery buyer-review framework, updated 2 October 2026. The separate-line and shared-base arrangements are possible comparison scopes, not a verified Halcyon configuration; published separate-line and shared-unit examples illustrate why the quotation must identify each member and tool. This page explains proposed sample checks, not a verified machine-specific trial, certified suspended-ceiling system or guaranteed output. Confirm the main tee, cross tee, wall angle and connector tooling against our Xiamen production base's written machine scope and your approved drawings.
