HAMR-01 AMR Factory Service Robot: Buyer Review

An autonomous mobile robot moves material between stations; it does not form steel profiles. Assess HAMR-01 against the actual load, workshop route, pickup and delivery interfaces, people traffic and shift plan before requesting a configuration.

Define the transport task before selecting an AMR

Choose an AMR by the repeatable movement it must perform, not by a generic factory-robot picture. Our Xiamen production base describes HAMR-01 as an autonomous mobile robot for material handling in light steel framing and roll forming factories, with laser navigation and obstacle avoidance. Those are production-base descriptions, not Halcyon test results or guaranteed project specifications.

Load and carrier

List the heaviest and longest handled item, load centre, packaging, pickup height and whether a rack, lift or conveyor top module is needed.

Route and traffic

Mark pickup and drop-off stations, aisle widths, doors, floor levels, pedestrian crossings and forklift traffic on a current workshop plan.

Interface and dispatch

Document the signal or manual call that releases a job, the docking tolerance, handoff method and safe response when a station is occupied.

Shift duty

Give moves per hour, peak queue, operating hours, charging opportunities and recovery time after an interrupted mission.

Profile drawing, steel grade, thickness range, punching layout and target output describe the host production line; provide them when AMR pickup, scheduling or finished-part transfer depends on that line. They are not specifications of the robot itself.

Project evidence

Trial the proposed robot on the real route

Agree the exact robot, carrier, map, safety arrangement and test load in writing before any performance claim is accepted.

  1. Identify the HAMR-01 configuration, carrier and documented payload for the quoted unit.
  2. Run a loaded pickup-to-delivery-to-return cycle at the planned stations and record failed docks, delays and manual interventions.
  3. Test a safe stop and restart with a person or obstacle in an approved test area; check emergency stops and site safety assessment.
  4. Measure the cycle during a representative busy shift, including charging or battery exchange, rather than quoting only unloaded travel speed.
  5. Keep the route map, trial video, issue list, operator instructions and signed acceptance record with the order.

Scope boundary: payload, speed, navigation behaviour, charging time and integration functions require confirmation for the offered HAMR-01 build and site. Halcyon carries out this review with our factory team at our Xiamen production base.

Buyer questions

Common HAMR-01 selection questions

Is HAMR-01 a roll forming machine?

No. It is listed by our Xiamen production base as an autonomous mobile robot for material handling around production lines.

Can an AMR carry any finished profile?

Not without checking the quoted payload, load centre, carrier support, part length and safe route. Obtain a trial with the intended load.

Does the robot automatically integrate with my existing line?

Integration depends on station geometry, controls, safety and dispatch interfaces. Treat every link to a forming or assembly station as a project-specific item.
