WHY CHOOSE THIS SERIES

Where the M Series fits

Catalogue scope: our Xiamen production base's official digital C/Z equipment overview, M Series section Source availability: the previously reviewed catalogue link returned HTTP 404 during the latest check on 4 October 2026. The range above remains a historical catalogue reference; request the current M Series document, exact machine photographs and drawing-specific proposal before purchase. , checked 4 October 2026, describes small C products in a 50–250 mm range and mentions more complex sections. It gives no numerical minimum wall thickness or drawing-specific capability. Treat this as a family reference; the current written offer and measured samples establish the included section, material and output.

The series name is a starting point. Material strength, flange and lip dimensions, hole pattern, cutting method and target output decide the final machine.

Small section range

Our Xiamen production base publishes a 50–250 mm product range. Confirm which dimension this denotes on the quoted section drawing, together with flange, lip and corner radii.

Complex geometry

Suitable for evaluating cold-formed sections beyond a simple large purlin shape.

Material flexibility

Tooling and drive are selected around the specified material and the approved sample.

SMALL C-SECTION BUYER CHECK

Prove the small C profile and its formed details

The M Series is listed as a C-section forming family. A small nominal web does not prove that the line can hold the lip, return, hole and cut geometry on your particular part. Qualify the section by its full drawing and intended assembly, not by a family label.

Send the full section, not only web width

Mark web, flange, lip, corner radii and any return or stiffening feature on the drawing. Include steel grade, coating, thickness range and coil width. Ask the factory to show where the proposed rolls and guides control each feature.

Trial the difficult detail

If the section has tight returns or holes near a bend, include those details in the witnessed sample. Check repeat parts for section geometry, twist, burr, hole datum and fit to the mating part. Do not use a plain C sample as proof of a more complex variant.

Keep the scope C-only unless proven

List every intended C size and any profile variation in the quote. If the project also needs Z purlins or hat sections, request a separate tooling and changeover proposal rather than assuming this family can make them.

Decision boundary: The C/Z family selection guide shows how M differs from the other published family listings. Only the named factory's current proposal and measured acceptance samples can confirm your requested geometry and output.

C section forming machine FAQ

What is a C section forming machine?

It is a roll forming machine that forms flat steel coil into a C-shaped channel (web, flanges and lips) and cuts it to length. C sections are used as purlins, girts, studs, solar rails and machine frames.

Which C section sizes can the M Series make?

The M Series covers small C sections in a 50–250 mm range. The exact web, flange, lip, thickness and hole pattern are confirmed on your section drawing; larger purlins use our C/Z purlin lines.

How much does a C section forming machine cost?

C/Z purlin and C section machines are US$39,000–62,000 for standard single-profile or quick-change lines and US$72,000–143,000 for fully automatic lines, FOB China. Send your drawing for a quotation within 24 hours.

C section or C/Z purlin machine – which do I need?

Choose a C section machine for small channels in one family; choose a C/Z purlin machine if you need both C and Z purlins or larger sizes. See our C purlin and automatic C/Z purlin machine pages.
